Lucy the LLama was the beginning of changing a cattle ranching operation to raising alpacas. Alpacas are a gentle animal that soothe the soul and relieve stress. Their personalities are unique. The herd grew from going to pick up "one" alpaca not knowing you needed multiples and loading 4. After Julie wanting "one more" and returning with 4 each time the herd grew to 12 within 6 months. Fleecy Friends has grown to a total of 40 alpacas and more on the way. Lucy is still on the farm guarding her smaller cousins.

He grew up surrounded by animals since he was little, and always loved being in the country. If Jordan isn't helping with the business you can catch him playing on the game or doing some type of outdoor activity.
Hello. My husband and I began our journey with alpacas back in February of 2022. We were in the cattle business but had to sell because of my back problems. I am an animal lover and told him we would always have animals. We ran llamas with our cattle and I really enjoyed them. So I suggested alpacas. We both fell in love with them. As they say " They are like Lays potato chips, you can't just have one"!!
